I was interested in it because I heard it had more shades of gray than most fantasy books, but honestly in the parts I read I did not see that. The good guys were very good and the bad guys were very icky and evil. What made it different from most fantasy books was that the bad guys got to win a lot. I guess that's not my thing.
12. What book do you passionately hate? I don't know if "Hate" is the right word, but I decided to stop reading The Count of Monte Cristo when one character repeated for another character, word for a word, a conversation of the "Hi, how are you?" "I'm good, how are you?" variety.
