I thought Korra and Asami made for a very cute couple. I'd heard there was a GLBT relationship on the show, and I was pleased to learn it was Asami, specifically, who Korra fell for.

I haven't watched any of the shows, but I remember when the series finale aired for Legend of Korra and the final scene with Korra and Asami happened, it was such a Big Deal. So many fans were happy, freaking out and rejoicing, especially those who were already shipping the two characters. It was definitely groundbreaking.
