Tosh never got the attention she deserved from the show writers or from fandom. She's not my favorite, but I love her a lot and she's the character I most identify with. I wish we had learned more about her family, and how much she was still in contact with them. In "Fragments" Jack tells her that she will have limited contact with her mother, and implies that there will be postcards only, and in "Captain Jack Harkness", she's going to London to attend her grandfather's birthday. It would have been nice to get a clearer sense of how close she still was to her family.
I don't see Owen as attracted to men, either, but I've seen people interpret the alien date rape scene in "Everything Changes" as proof of his bisexuality, so I figured I would leave it as "ambiguous", since it's not really the point of the essay.
