But then again, in Beneath You when Anya says her cursing of men is happening because Xander leaving her at the altar, Xander says, "And sooner or later, Anya, that excuse just stops working." And I've seen at least one fan point to this as an example of Xander not taking responsibility for his actions. And I don't think anyone commented to disagree with them.
Anya cursing people and endangering others is Anya's fault. Blaming Xander is nothing but a feeble excuse. She chose to be a demon again. I don't see anyone blaming Cordelia for Xander's spell in BB&B. So, why blame him for Anya's actions?
