Vidding comics

itsnotmymindIt has come my attention that someone has vidded comics.
Is this a thing people do? Are there a lot of vids out there that use comics? Where I can find them?
I don't expect my non-comic oriented flist to know the answers to these questions (and I stopped reading most comics a few years ago), but this was something I just had to share.
