Faith, of course. Faith is a complex, ambiguous character who is powerful and cruel as a villain. The thing about Faith is that she lashes out most viciously at the people who reach out to her (except the mayor--she trusts him for some reason). She's also a slayer, which means she gets great fight scenes with Buffy.

Drusilla is a close second, because her madness is so fascinating. She's the only one of the fanged four who never got any kind of redemption storyline.

Faith ♥ ♥ ♥

I am so glad Dru never got a redemption storyline. Partly because she's awesome as-is, and partly because I fear it would end up very victim-blamey and unpleasant. Darla, Angel, and Spike all chose to be vampires, all said "yes" to it. For Drusilla, it was another thing Angel took from her. She's a victim forever (while being strong and loved and wonderful) and doesn't need, can't have redemption in that sense.

That's an interesting thought. Of course, Darla, Angel and Spike didn't really know what they were agreeing to, but they weren't victimized the way Dru was.
