Day 17 - saddest character death.
Probably Cordy, even though I didn't like her quite as much by the end. There were a lot of really sad character deaths, though.

Day 19 - favourite Cordy moment.
Day 20 - favourite Wesley moment.
Day 21 - favourite Gunn moment.
Day 22 - favourite Fred moment.
Day 23 - wackiest-looking demon.
Day 24 - a character who didn’t get enough screentime.
Day 25 - rec a fanfic or fanvid (or both).
Day 26 - something that you wish had never happened.
Day 27 - something that you wish had happened.

I agree. Even if I didn't like the later Cordy her death was so sad. But then again many people die in AtS.

I thought about Darla, but her death didn't make me cry the way Cordy's did.

Oh yes. Cordy's death is so so sad, even though I don't think it's the end of her at all.

No, not that - but I think the strong implication is that Cordelia doesn't die in the traditional sense, but joins the Powers for real. Her goodbye doesn't sound like death - "we're on different roads", "this is my off-ramp", is an analogy for keeping moving but in a different direction. And we know there is a vacant seat among the Powers :)
