itsnotmymindSam’s big fear is not that Benny is going to steal Dean away from him, but that Benny is a better person than he is. For once, a monster resisting its monstrous nature is not an inspiration for Sam. It’s a mockery. That maybe Benny treats Dean better than he does, that maybe Benny is worthy of Dean’s trust in a way that he could never be.
