kikimay. I think I've done one before, or something like it, but a very long time ago. Anyway, I currently crave low-key fannish interaction, so:
Name a character in any of my fandoms, and I'll answer these questions:
1. Do you love/hate/don’t feel strongly about this character?
2. What’s your favorite trait of this character?
3. What’s your favorite moment/event involving this character?
4. If you could have one power/attribute/etc. of this character, what would it be?
5. Have you ever pictured this character naked?
6. When did you fall in love/hate with this character? I you don’t have any strong feelings toward them, why not?
7. Who’s your OTP for this character?

2. I like that Willow highly values doing good and being good and making a difference. Even her attempt to destroy the world was, in a warped way, about helping people.
3. I liked her romance with Oz, just about every step of it. Especially New Moon Rising. Such a satisfying and beautiful way to end their story. And I loved Willow's break-up with Tara, and all the Dark Willow episodes. Willow's S6 arc had some cringe-worthy missteps, but when it was good it was exceptional.
4. I wouldn't mind her hacking skills, although I doubt I would have the nerve to actually hack anything.
5. Not something I generally do with TV show character.
6. I always liked Willow. I don't think my feelings towards her ever greatly change. I love her, but she never made my top list.
7. Willow/Oz
Angel
1. I mildly love Angel.
2. I like how seriously he takes the whole redemption thing. I'm not always thrilled with some of his choices, particular the ways his quest for redemption affect how he treats Buffy. But I like that he's serious about it, and puts a lot of thought into it.
3. He tried to smother Wesley with a pillow! Well, okay, the whole soulless Angel arc (I don't call it "the Angelus arc" because that was a later retcon) in BtVS S2 was the best. But I did like him smothering Wesley with a pillow. Also, Darla!
4. His..charisma, I guess I would say. He has an ability to inspire love and loyalty in people.
5. Not something I usually do with TV show characters.
6. I like Angel right from the start. It's odd because it seems a lot of people who dislike Buffy/Angel don't like Angel until he gets his own show, but I always liked him. I just didn't like him with Buffy.
7. Angel/Darla.

Date: 2016-06-24 02:24 am (UTC)2. I love how he never does things by halves. I love how cold and angry he can be at his worst. I love how determined he is to put aside his own crap to do what's fair and right when he's at his best. I love his attempts to process the world intellectually.
3. Taking out demons with his evil psychic powers.
4. Whatever gave him the will and ability to get a full ride to Stanford and leave home at eighteen even though he knew it would get him kicked out and disowned.
5. Not something I do.
6. I loved him from the start, but he became my favorite in S4. I can't pin down the moment, but I would guess taking out Alastair in On the Head of a Pin. It was the very next episode, It's a Terrible Life, when I realized he had become my favorite.
7. Platonically, Sam and Dean. Sexually in a dysfunctional way, Sam/Ruby. More functionally, Sam/Amelia.

His ability to perfectly articulate the ways in which other people are being assholes, even when he is more than capable of being an asshole in the same way. Sometimes it's hypocrisy, and sometimes it's just on point.
3. I am unhappy with the extent to which much of fandom overlooks and romanticizes the dark side of his devotion to Sam, and takes Dean's interpretations of his own actions at face value, but still: Dean's devotion to Sam, with all its complications.
4. Dean's really brave. I mean, Sam, too. But still. I would like t be that brave.
5. Not something I usually do.
6. I don't remember not loving Dean. He actually surprised me a bit. I thought from the glances I'd gotten of SPN fandom that he would be all hard and macho. Instead he was an obedient son and a caring older brother. So I liked that.
7. Platonically, always Dean and Sam. Romantically...no one, really. I was intrigued by the idea of Dean/Lisa, but found the execution consistently terrible. Same with Dean/Cassie, actually. Castiel and Benny never did anything for me. I could never really picture Dean/Jo. And I hate Crowley.
