Amused by my past self

itsnotmymindI was reading my diary from a few years ago for, and I stumbled on something mildly amusing: I saw Iron Man with a group of friends when it first came out in 2008. It was the first Robert Downey Jr. movie I'd ever seen (and the last--for some reason I never got around to seeing Iron Man, even though I liked the first one).
What I had forgotten until rereading my diary was that after we saw the movie, I said to my friends, not one of whom was a Beatles fan, "Robert Downey Jr. is better at the soulful puppy dog eye look than Paul McCartney."
