So through the Sunnydale Herald I stumbled upon this link, encouraging readers to make up their own ideas about what a Buffy reboot would look like. I'm not a member of Reddit and don't want to become on at this time, so I'm answering here.

My idea would be a show consisting of one-shot episodes - each episode about a different slayer in a different time period, past, present, or future. I have no ideas about casting, but it would be interesting to meet all the different women and girls who have been called and learn their stories.

That's kind of on par with my ideas of a reboot, as well. Also, something that focuses on the newly awakened Slayers post-"Chosen", even if it's just one at first and then they meet more and more along their journey as they band together to discover more about themselves along with what it means to be a Slayer and what roles they now have to play.

Overall, I think focusing on other Slayers is definitely the best way of doing a proper reboot of the universe. Buffy and her story has already been told, and there are loads of Slayers that still need their time to shine, as well.

I agree - present and future slayers would definitely mean post-Chosen. I thought Chosen was the perfect ending for Buffy's story, so I am no longer interested in her as a protagonist (wouldn't mind her as a side character, though, but I guess that depends on Sarah Michelle Gellar).
